Good call 100804
Just finished some online modules to qualify for a course assessment next saturday. Some laparoscopic course, what many would refer to as simple operations made ridiculously difficult. Kind of like tying your shoe lace with long chop sticks with your hands tied to your back...hmmm... let me picture that...
Anyway had a good rest yesterday (1130 pm to 645 am? =P)during the call..haha and managed to meet up with an old friend for lunch today.
Such impromptu lunch dates always brighten up my day. Nice to find out that he has found someone (finally? I'm truly happy for him, it's just that he has been grumbling about being alone blah blah blah...) and nice to know that some things about him just never change. Always so blunt and tactless but nonetheless sincere. Still a great friend to have, to say the least.
Just realised I've been so caught up with work that I hardly water the plants of friendship. (cliche..huh?) I guess as you get on in years, you tend to find that true friends are hard to come by and the bonds that you forge when you were in your younger years still tend to be stronger and well-tested by water and fire...
